4 days mt. Meru Tanzania will give an opportunity to climb the second-highest mountain Tanzania through the Arusha national park where you will walk not very far from wild animals, waterfalls 

Day 1: From the hotel to Arusha national park, then climb to Mariakamba Hut

  Your first waypoint is the Miriakamba. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger and a professional mountain guide throughout the duration of the walk. During the walk, you will encounter a vast amount of wildlife including buffalo, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and gazelles with more explanations from your professional guide, you will stop at the Miriakamba Hut where we will spend the night and enjoy an appetizing dinner

Day 2: Mariakamba to Saddle hut

You will start the day with breakfast and then we will follow the steep path to the Saddle Hut, the walk will take us along the ridge of the spectacular view of Meru crater and Impressive Ash cone, after hot lunch at saddle hut you will a short walk to little Meru (3,820m) for awesome view just before sunset

  • Distance: 8 Km
  • Habitat: Forest and Moorland
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Summit Day

  Today you start your climb early in the morning usually is around 1:00 am to climb steeply to rhino point (3,800 m) and then continue to cobra point (4,350 m), you will reach the summit (4,566 m) for sunrise with a great view of mount Kilimanjaro peak above the clouds, the final part of the climb is along a spectacular narrow ridgeline between the sheer inner cliff and sloping outer wall of the crater, You will take a short break and having a brunch at saddle hut before descending to Mariakamba hut where you will spend a night

  • Distance: 19 Km
  • Habitat: Alpine desert moorland and Montane forest
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 4: Mariakamba Hut to Momela gate

   After enjoying your breakfast in the morning you start descent through a short route to Momela gate, the short route is passing through Arusha national park where you get a chance to see wild animals like giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, colobus monkeys, and a lot more without forgetting the Tululusia waterfall, that will be the best end before reaching the game where you driver  will be waiting for you,

  • Distance: 7 Km
  • Habitat: Alpine desert moorland and Montane forest
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
