Arrival Day : Airport to Arusha

A TravelEdward employee will get you you at the airport and transport you to your lodging in Arusha, where you will spend the night, unwind, and get ready for the activities ahead.

Day 1: Tarangire national park

The tour starts just after breakfast. Before leaving on safari, we first stop in Arusha Town to make any last-minute purchases. Following that, we travel to the Tarangire National Park for a wildlife drive and picnic lunch. The vast number of elephants and baobab trees in Tarangire are well known. Up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras all migrate through its center each year. Dinner and accommodation at a lodge

Day 2: Ngorongoro crater

Rise and shine! We set off early in the morning towards the lush hills of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven wonders, is where we are headed this morning. When we reach the crater rim, we take the steep trail down into the 600 m-deep caldera where we can see a variety of animals, grasslands, birds, and a lake. On the massive extinct volcano, there are over 25,000 mammals, including the “Big Five” and some of the more than 500 bird species that inhabit the area. After a lengthy wildlife drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will have a relaxed dinner at your Karatu lodging before we continue on to our next destination.

Day 3: Lake Manyara - Stone town

After breakfast, you’ll go on a game drive in Lake Manyara, a tiny national park, and then take a flight to Zanzibar from Arusha. Our office representative will meet you at the Zanzibar Hotel, which has been prearranged for you. In the center of Stone Town stands the hotel. The hotel offers B&B accommodations.

Day 4: Stone town - Nungwi

After breakfast, our guide will meet you and take you on a tour of Stone Town. The Old Stone Town is a section of Zanzibar City, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2000. You will explore Zanzibar’s wonderful labyrinths and most historical sites, such as the House of Wonders (national museums), old fort, old slave market, fruits and fish market, spice market, bazaar, streets, Zanzibar curved door, and their roles while traveling across the crumbling buildings of the old town with your guide. You will eat lunch in a local restaurant today on Stone Town street.

Day 5: Stone town & Spice tour

Your guide will meet you after breakfast and take you on a tour of Stone Town. The city of Zanzibar, which includes the Old Stone Town, was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. You will explore Zanzibar’s amazing labyrinths and the majority of its historical attractions, such as the House of Wonders (national museums), an ancient fort, an old slave market, a fruits and fish market, and Zanzibar curved door while traveling through the old town of Zanzibar with your guide. Following the tour of the stone village, you’ll eat a local meal.

Before returning to the mainland, you will also take part in a spice tour in Zanzibar to learn more about the various spices and sample some of the exotic fruits.

Day 6: Nungwi Beach

After breakfast, you will be driven to Nungwi beach in the northwest of Zanzibar, where you will spend the day unwinding and taking in the ocean views.

Day 7: Nungwi Beach - Airport

leaving the hotel permanently. the airport needs to be moved. We’ll head to the airport to catch your flight home when it’s time for us to pick you up
